The LandFillharmonic

Students learned about he Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, one of the poorest places in Paraguay, where residents have literally turned trash into orchestral instruments for the children of the community.

Bash the Trash

Another source of inspiration, the organization Bash the Trash, that teaches about ecology, recycling, and physics through music.

Creative Composition

Students are encouraged to develop their own forms of notation, or code, in composing for their original instrument creation.
